FLOSSMOOR | The Homewood-Flossmoor Park District has brought top-notch entertainment for more than two decades to the Marie Irwin Band shell, located in Irwin Park at Ridge Road and Highland Avenue in Homewood.

The “Starry Nights” concert series, now in its 27th year features three shows for concert goers to enjoy: Final Say on June 13; The Dancing Noodles on June 27; and Spoken Four on July 25.

The H-F Community Band will open for the June “Starry Nights” performances and 2012 Homewood Idol winner, Phallon Boyd, will open the July “Starry Nights” concert at 7 p.m. Headline entertainment will begin at 8.

In case of rain, the “Starry Nights” concerts will be held at the HFPD Auditorium at 2010 Chestnut, Homewood. Admission to Starry Nights concerts is free. Food and beverages will be available from vendors throughout the series. Alcohol will be available for purchase at “Starry Nights” as well. All “Starry Nights” events are smoke-free.
