MERRILLVILLE | The 16th annual American CueSports Indiana State Championships will be kicking off on Feb. 27 at Radisson Hotel at Star Plaza. The five-day tournament is expected to bring in more than 250 billiards players from across the state to compete.

Entertainment is planned throughout the event, including two-time National Artistic Champion Tom ‘Dr. Cue’ Rossman displaying hat-trick shots Thursday through Saturday evenings. Eight-time world champion Nick Varner will also be on hand Friday and Saturday night to accept challenge matches and demonstrate techniques needed to become a world champion. All tournament and professional entertainment is open and free to the public.
