LANSING | Pat Schuljak was a dedicated father and Cub Scout leader who passed away suddenly in January at the age of 43, leaving behind a wife and two sons, one in fifth grade and the other in first grade.
A benefit is planned for his family today called A Tip of the Hat to Pat. The event is being planned on the day before St. Patrick's Day because Schuljak was such a fan of that holiday.
The event includes a dinner catered by J.J. Kelley's, raffles and entertainment. It will take place from 5 to 11 p.m. in the St. Ann Parish Hall, 3014 Ridge Road. Tickets are $30 in advance or $35 at the door.
