LANSING | Newlyweds Brandon and Angie Lage were married on Saturday at St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Calumet City.

After a photo shoot in downtown Chicago, the bridal party made a stop at Dari-Ville at 179th Street and Burnham Avenue in Lansing on the way to the reception at Cloister in the Woods in Munster.

Angie Lage gave her out-of-town guests a list of things to do in the area. She recommended getting a cone at Dari-Ville with the suggestion "Don't forget to ask for it 'with eyes.' They'll know what you're talking about."

After 50 years on Burnham Avenue, the Dari-Ville closed Sunday and is reopening in the spring next to a Subway Sandwiches franchise at 917 Sheffield St., in Dyer.
