LANSING | On Jan. 28, Coolidge Elementary School held its second quarter B.U.G. Awards assembly for academic excellence.
Students were awarded for straight A's along with bringing up their grades.
The criteria for a B.U.G. Award requires a student to bring up grades in any subject on their report card, but not fail or drop grades.
Coolidge had a record number of students receive awards this quarter.
The Kiwanis Club of the Lansing Golden K provides all awards for this event.
