LANSING | Members of Lansing Professional Firefighters Local 3709 made a $200 donation to Dance for Disney.
The Dance for Disney event was a Zumba fundraiser for Micah Steele, an 11-year-old with cancer who expressed his wishes to take a trip to Disney World with his family to his former teacher, Bridgett Anderson Annicks, a first-grade teacher at Oak Glen School in Lansing.
Annicks organized the event, which raised $15,000. Steele and his father and siblings were taken for a fire engine ride at the event.
