CHICAGO | Motorists should expect temporary lane closures on westbound Interstate 80/94 from 5:30 to 10 a.m. Saturday, the Illinois Department of Transportation announced Friday.
The closures are needed so workers can perform inspections on the Torrence Avenue bridge over the Kingery Expressway, according to a news release from the department.
The work was scheduled for the previous weekend but was delayed by rain.
Drivers should expect delays, pay close attention to signs and remain alert for workers, the release states.
