LANSING | As Fire Prevention Week was observed during the second week in October, Lansing author Carrie Steinweg visited third-graders at Greenwood School in South Holland to read her children's book, "Old 104 Rides Again."

The story revolves around an antique fire engine and touches upon the topics of fire safety and fire prevention.
