LANSING | Paul Schultz, president of the Lansing Historical Society, will host his annual historical walk on Ridge Road on July 8. The walk is a rescheduled event after inclement weather caused the previous date to be cancelled.
The walk includes interesting facts about the buildings located in downtown Lansing. The walk is free and those interested can begin meeting at 6 p.m. behind Gayety's, 3306 Ridge Road for the 6:30 p.m. tour.
Also, don't forget to stop in the Lansing Historical Museum in the lower level of the Lansing Public Library to see the Brides through the decades exhibit, which includes gowns worn by Lansing women from the 1890's through the 1970's. Museum hours are Monday from 6-8 p.m., Tuesday from 3-5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-noon.
