Avid Read adult book discussion will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 1 at the Lansing Public Library. The book discussed will be “Room” by Emma Donoghue. Copies are available at the upstairs circulation desk.
Reality Check adult book discussion will meet at 6:30 p.m. May 9 at the Lansing Public Library. The book discussed will be “Einstein: His Life and Universe” by Walter Isaacson. Copies are available at the upstairs circulation desk.

Friends of the Library Book Sale is May 11. Members only shop from 9 to 10 a.m. General public shops from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Membership available at the door. There is an ongoing book sale located in the Adult Services Department.

The Lansing Business Women's Association is cutting and sorting coupons for military families overseas. The coupons can be used six months past the expiration date at their commissary. Join the group on the first Monday of every month at the Lansing Public Library in the Community Room. They meet from 9:30 a.m. to noon and 6 to 7:30 p.m. Bring scissors and any coupons you may have.
