LANSING | The Lansing Lions Club recently donated $4,000 to support the Camp Quality Illinois mission.
Camp Quality Illinois' mission is to serve Illinois and Northwest Indiana children with cancer by providing a one week camping experience as well as year-round programs to the children and their families at no cost. Camp Quality Illinois promotes hope and inspiration while helping children foster life skills and develop their full potential.
The Lansing Lions Club along with the East Side Lions provided the initial funds to start Camp Quality Illinois in 1995 and has supported the organization each year. Some of the Lion members are also full time volunteers.
