LANSING | On Aug. 16, the world will remember the 36th anniversary of the death of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. His life, death, and music will never be forgotten. The popularity of Elvis seems to grow bigger and bigger as the years go on since his death. There are thousands of Elvis Tribute artists throughout the world, the ultimate compliment to an entertainer.
On Aug. 9, Dennis Stella will be performing at St. Ann Parish in Lansing as part of its 100th anniversary celebration. This is a 21 and older event.
Stella, along with his band, The Blue Suede Shoes, the Sweet Sensations and DJ Mike Myers, formerly of U.S. 99 FM promise a fun-filled and entertaining evening, with this high energy Las Vegas Style Elvis Tribute.
Stella is an 8-time international finalist in the big images of Elvis Tribute Contest in Memphis, every August.
In the past 15 years, Stella has performed at venues such as U.S. Cellular Field, the United Center, and many festivals in the Chicago land area. He also had the privilege of providing entertainment after a Barack Obama speech while he was a State Senator. Stella, his band, the backup singers, and Mike Myers, are very talented entertainers!
Tickets for this exciting show, are on sale at the St. Ann Parish Office, 3010 Ridge Road, Lansing and on Paypal, www.stannfundraising.org. Reserved seating is available for $25 in advance or $30 at the door. There will be a cash bar, as well as dinner served, too.
