LANSING | Two men are accused of robbing and beating an undercover officer Tuesday evening during a sex sting.

Dominique Wilson, 26, and Devaul Killingsworth, 21, both of Chicago, were charged with aggravated battery to a police officer, robbery, unlawful restraint and resisting arrest.

A Cook County sheriff's officer was responding to an advertisement from at the Red Roof Inn in Lansing as part of an undercover human trafficking sting, according to a news release from the sheriff's office.

Two men dressed as women met the officer and tried to rob him in the hotel room, according to the release. After the officer identified himself, the men locked the door to the room and began to beat him. The officer's hand was broken during the struggle.

The rest of the vice team was able to get into the hotel room through a window and arrested the two men.
