LANSING | Students from Oak Glen School learned how animals respond to stimuli.

They used earthworms they had observed in an earlier lab. Students predicted how the worm would respond, then did the experiment.

The various stimuli included a vibration on the desk, touching the worm with a cotton swab, and placing the worm on top of dirt. Most students concluded  the worm was sensitive to vibration.
