LANSING | Lansing violin/piano duo Stringsong recently debuted its recording project, “King of Love” on CD. Cheryl D. Kapteyn and Renée N. Hale have been making music together since 2005. They have played many genres of music, but have kept worship music as their focus.

The duo has performed professionally in local concert and business settings. At performances, they were often asked if they would ever record a CD. Kapteyn and Hale are excited to offer this recording project that honors God and His love in the world. Kapteyn plays piano on the recordings, while Hale plays violin. The CD features nine arrangements of well-known hymn tunes for violin and piano in a variety of styles.
