LANSING | Thornton Fractional South cheerleaders placed 12th out of 28 at the Illinois Cheerleading Coaches Association state competition in the Large Varsity division on Feb. 9 at the Prairie State Convention Center in Springfield, Ill., the school has announced.

The team is coached by Jordan Martin and Stephanie Ustanik.
