SAUK VILLAGE | The identities of two men found shot to death in a Sauk Village home Tuesday night have been released.

A spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office said the victims are Marcus Mireles, 19, of the 17100 block of Greenbay Ave. in Lansing, and Abel Galindo, whose age and hometown were not released.

The medical examiner's office previously said the men were believed to be in their early 20s.

Mireles suffered a gunshot wound to the head and Galindo suffered multiple gunshot wounds, the spokesman said. Both of the deaths have been ruled homicides.

The men may have been dead inside the home for a day or longer, he said.

The men were found shot to death around 8:45 p.m. Tuesday inside a home in the 22600 block of Brookwood Drive.

Sauk Village police have released little information on the crimes.

Dispatchers early Thursday referred all calls to Police Chief Robert Fox's office. Fox was not immediately available for comment.
