LANSING | Debby and Jim Janssen of Lansing held a wine tasting fundraiser Saturday to help raise money for the 2014 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. Santori's Liquors in Lansing donated their services for the wine tasting, which featured 30 different wines.

Debby Janssen and her sisters Micki Boland of Whiting and Robin Rotolo of Tinley Park plan to participate in the 2014 Avon Walk in honor of their mother Toni Rodriguez who died of breast cancer in 1994. Boland's daughter Kelsee Boland and Janssen's daughter Rachel Young also plan to join the walk.

To continue to help raise funds for the 2014 Avon Walk, the group plans to hold a garage sale Sept. 13-15 at 13400 Avenue M, Chicago. The garage sale will open at 8 a.m. all three days. All proceeds will go to the walk.
