RIVERDALE | The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Riverdale Police Department issued an alert Tuesday for a 7-year-old boy missing from Riverdale since Monday.

Darnell Anderson is black, has black hair and brown eyes, is 3 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 52 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark blue polo shirt and black shorts with red writing on one leg. The shorts also are stained from bleach.

Police said the child has a bruise on his lip.

Officials are asking anyone with information on Darnell's whereabouts to call The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at (800) 843-5678 (800-THE-LOST) or the Riverdale Police Department at (708) 841-2203.
