SAUK VILLAGE | A 44-year-old man was shot to death Friday afternoon at his house at 2946 E. 223rd St. in Sauk Village, according to the Lake County coroner's office.
Brian Brabch, of Sauk Village, was shot in the chest and taken to St. Margaret Mercy Hospital in Dyer, according to a release from the coroner's office.
He died at 4:44 p.m. and his death was ruled a homicide.
The Sauk Village Police Department and the South Suburban Major Crimes Task Force are investigating the homicide but did not release any other details Friday night.
