SAUK VILLAGE | On Oct. 16, the Community and Economic Development Association of Cook County will be at the Village Hall, 21801 Torrence Ave., to take applications for energy bill assistance.

The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and CEDA staff will assist residents with applications.

Applicants must bring proof of gross income and Social Security numbers from all household residents over the last 30 days and a copy of their most recent heating and electric bills. Households that receive Temporary Assistance for Needy Families must bring their medical card. Applicants whose utilities are included in their rent must bring a copy of their rental agreement and landlord contact information.
