Sauk Village students celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday

SAUK VILLAGE | On March 1, Wagoner Elementary School celebrated Read Across America for Dr. Seuss’ birthday.

The celebration kicked off with reading "The Cat in the Hat" during library. A reading fair took place in the school gym for all of the kindergarten through second-grade students. The students rotated from station to station doing a variety of reading activities related to Dr. Seuss including sight word fishing, rhyming, sight word spelling, partner reading and taking a "Cat in the Hat" quiz.
