SAUK VILLAGE | During the second quarter, the first-grade students of Wagoner Elementary School studied fictional text through creative invention stories, poetry and learning how to put things in sequential order.

The children had the opportunity to create their own inventions with their family and share it with their peers. The children learned and wrote the steps and materials needed to make a project. They enjoyed listening and learning about their classmates' inventions. The students said they had a lot of fun working together with their family.

The inventions have been displayed in the gym for others to view.
