SAUK VILLAGE | The Sauk Village Senior Center, 21801 Torrence Ave., welcomes village seniors age 50 and older.

The center, located in the municipal building, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays and offers free admission to village seniors. There is a $1 fee per visit for nonresident seniors.

Activities are available or patrons may bring their own games or group for card and board games, bingo, bunco, dominoes, rummikub, etc.

Computers, a free library and TV are available as well as vending machines for drinks and snacks. Seniors may bring their own bag lunch, crafts or mending/sewing projects. There is basic line dance instruction and the facility is a cooling center during hot summer months.
