SAUK VILLAGE | Three employees at the ABC Urban Wireless store in the village were arrested Friday afternoon following a sting conducted by Sauk Village police and agents from major clothing manufacturers.

Undercover agents bought counterfeit items purported to be name brand clothing at the store at 2583 Sauk Trail, police said.

More than 400 pieces of counterfeit clothing, shoes and accessories were seized from the location. The items had a total retail value around $10,000, police said.

The items claimed to be made by several clothing manufacturers, including Nike, True Religion, Luis Vuitton and Gucci.

Police said computers, U.S. currency and more than 50 counterfeit movies also were seized from the location.

Store employees Firas Sulieman, Mohomad Kattab and Mohamad Ramadan were arrested and charged with violating the counterfeit trademark act, police said. Their ages and where they reside were not immediately available.

Police said the men will appear for bond hearing today.
