SAUK VILLAGE | A Sauk Village teen died at a Dyer hospital Saturday afternoon after being stabbed at his home, officials said.

Diontae Erwin, of the 1700 block of East 223rd Street, was pronounced dead at 12:41 p.m. at Franciscan St. Margaret Health hospital, a Lake County coroner's report said.

The cause of death was listed as a stab wound suffered in a homicide at his home.

Sauk Village police were not available for comment Saturday.
