SOUTH HOLLAND | Authorities are searching for a man who is accused of robbing a BMO Harris Bank branch Tuesday afternoon.

A man in his mid-30s walked into the bank at 44 W. 162nd St. about 3 p.m. and gave a teller a note, according to a news release from the Village of South Holland. 

The unidentified man left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money, according to the release. The man did not show a weapon during the robbery.

Police described the suspect as a black man wearing a White Sox hat, sunglasses and a gray shirt.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the South Holland Police Department at (708) 331-3131.
