SOUTH HOLLAND | Performing artist Amanda Vernon will offer a free concert at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Seton Academy, 16100 Seton Drive.

Vernon is a recording artist from Grand Rapids, Mich. Through a genre she calls, “soulful pop” this singer, pianist and composer speaks to authentic beauty through music, the language of the soul.

At 26, Vernon has over a decade of experience in both studio recording and live performance. She has performed her original music across the United State and in six foreign countries including the 2008 and 2011 World Youth Days in Sydney and Madrid. Vernon was a feature of the Youth Track of the 2006 Archbishop James Lyke Conference in Chicago.

At age 26, Amanda has over a decade of experience in both studio recording and live performance. Together with her husband and their children — a son and daughter both under the age of 3 — she is traveling the U.S. sharing her music and message.
