SOUTH HOLLAND | Thornton Township Supervisor Frank M. Zuccarelli and South Suburban College have teamed up to provide 2,000 residents with hot Thanksgiving meals.
This annual holiday event will take place from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday at the South Suburban College Fitness Center, at 15800 S. State St.
The goal of the annual Thanksgiving dinner is to kick off the holiday season with good food, family and friends. Zuccarelli, along with other elected officials, will be serving the community food that is both delicious and nutritious during this year’s event.
This is a special holiday occasion that will bring the community together in a safe, friendly environment. Last year, more than 1,500 residents and seniors attended the Thanksgiving dinner.
