STEGER | The student Trail Theatre Troupe of Bloom Trail High School will stage “Legally Blonde The Musical” in three 7 p.m. shows Nov. 15-17 in the Neubauer Auditorium at Bloom Trail, Sauk Trail and Cottage Grove Avenue.
Bloom Trail play director Matthew Kunkel said the musical’s plot involves the story of character Elle Woods and her quest to win back the heart of Warner Huntington III, her college sweetheart.
“Woods follows Huntington to Harvard University Law School, eventually discovering she is more than just a blonde,” Kunkel said.
Main cast members are Julia Rolinak as Elle Woods, Faith Duncan as Margot, Athena Perez as Serena, Brianna Lee as Pilar, Brittany Barkus as Vivienne and Celeste Garcia as Brooke.
Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens. The play has a PG13 rating, parental guidance suggested.
A "Pretty in Pink" party for ladies only will take place from 5 to 6:45 p.m. Nov. 17 prior to the performance. The party will include bingo, prizes and chocolate. The cost is $10 and covers admission to the show. Reservations will be accepted until Monday by emailing lorozco@sd206.org.
