FRANKFORT, Ill. | The 19th Camp Quality will take place Aug. 4 to 10 at Camp Manitoqua in Frankfort, Ill.

Camp Quality provides an oasis to kids with cancer. It's a place where they can take their medications and then jump in the pool. Where they can try new things. Where they can fit in. Where they have the hope of being like other kids.

Every camper has a cancer diagnosis. A total of 84 children will attend. The 84 companions, the 24/7 medical staff and the entire board are all volunteers.

Costs for camp rental, activities, craft supplies, food, etc. are based on donations. Anyone interested in donating funds or supplies, can call Pat Beilfuss at (708) 895-8311, ext. 6, or visit their website to learn more. Camp Quality Illinois is based in Lansing.
