UNIVERSITY PARK | Governors State University is presenting “Leadership in an Era of Health Care Reform: Quality and Patient Safety Implications” at 6 p.m. April 2 in Sherman Hall on GSU’s University Park campus. The program is free and open to the public.

Ann Scott Blouin, executive vice president of customer relations, Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, will discuss health care leadership in an ever-changing environment. Blouin has more than 30 years of health care administration, consulting, and nursing experience, and has held several leadership positions. Blouin has also published and taught at nursing and medical schools and serves on the National Patient Safety Foundation Board of Governors.

The program is sponsored by GSU’s Student Healthcare Management Association.
