UNIVERSITY PARK | Experience a winter landscape filled with great art during the annual winter walk and chili dinner at Governors State University’s Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park from 2 to 5 p.m. Jan. 26.
Director and curator Geoffrey Bates will lead the tour of artworks, including Yvonne Domenge’s “Wind Waves,” newly installed at Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park. Following the walk, NMSP board member Leona Calvin and her husband George will again provide a chili dinner.
Participants should meet in GSU’s Hall of Governors prior to the walk. The walk and dinner will be held, snow or shine, unless the daytime temperature is below 20 degrees.

The Nathan Manilow Sculpture Park is located at Governors State University’s main campus in University Park, 1 University Parkway. NMSP is home to 28 monumental sculptures by some of the world’s most renowned artists. The park is free of charge and open from dawn to dusk 365 days a year.
