DEMOTTE | A 42-year-old Indianapolis woman was killed in a one-vehicle crash Saturday on Interstate 65 near the DeMotte exit in Jasper County, state police said.

Joyce McQuiller was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer in the northbound lane when she lost control of her car for unknown reasons, according to a release from Indiana State Police.

McQuiller over-corrected, causing the vehicle to roll onto the driver's side and then roll several more times, police said. Then vehicle went off the road and came to a stop in a ditch on the driver's side.

McQuiller died at the scene of the crash, police said.
