JASPER COUNTY | Officials were working a three-vehicle crash late Thursday on Interstate 65 near mile marker 231, Indiana State Police said.

Police said the crash happened in the northbound lanes. A vehicle was pinned between two semitrucks, one of which was engulfed in flames.

As of 10:20 p.m., officers were working to extricate people from the vehicles.

Police have temporarily shut down all lanes. It was unclear late Thursday how the crash happened.
