WHEATFIELD | Valparaiso’s Don Quijote Restaurant is hosting a sporting clays fun shoot to benefit the Don Quijote Education Fund. The event will be held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday at Oakwood Gun Club in Wheatfield. The $55 entrance fee includes a 100-round shoot, a lunch that includes Chef Carlos Rivero’s renowned paella, and a variety of contests and games. Participants must provide their own shotguns and ammunition, which can be purchased at the club.

The Don Quijote Education Fund was created to promote and develop Spanish language and cultural enrichment for high school students through educational study or travel programs.
