CROWN POINT | The city is planning a New Year's Eve party to celebrate the end of Crown Point's 175th anniversary celebration. The party is from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31 in the Maki Ballroom in the Old Courthouse. A time capsule will be closed at the event.

The cost is $75 for a single ticket and $145 for two tickets. Jennifer Young, director of special events, said there are only 175 tickets available.

The tickets can be bought by calling the parks office at (219) 661-2271. -- BY TIMES STAFF
