GARY | The Lake County coroner's office is asking for help finding the family of Vincent L. Demus, who died Jan. 12.
According to a press release, the office has tried to contact his family members but has not been able to reach anyone to notify them of the death.
Demus, 62, died at Methodist Hospital Northlake Campus in Gary. The cause of death is pending.
Demus was born in Cook County, and his last known address was 2580 Adams St., in Gary. Demus, who is black, was about 6 feet tall and weighed 250 pounds.
