HIGHLAND | The next time Rich Sivulich pulls into his driveway, he'll be doing so in NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon's Corvette.

Sivulich, a 1963 Hammond High School graduate and retired teacher, will be awarded the keys to Gordon's 2009 Chevrolet Z06 Corvette prior to today's Sprint Cup Dickies 500 race at Texas Motor Speedway in Dallas, according to the Web site of Gordon's charitable foundation.

The Highland resident purchased the winning ticket in a raffle by the foundation, which uses proceeds to benefit pediatric cancer research and the Jeff Gordon Children's Hospital in North Carolina. - By Times Staff
