CEDAR LAKE | Municipal utility customers are going to be able to pay bills online soon.
The Cedar Lake Town Council recently authorized Clerk-Treasurer Amy Sund to pursue the idea.
"We get calls from customers every day wanting online bill pay," Sund said. It can be arranged through the town's current software, she added.
Those not wanting to go paperless still will receive their bills by mail.
