M&M Catering, aka "Michelle's Kitchen," now provides a fish fry from 4 to 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturday afternoon specials from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturdays, at Miller-Dunes American Legion Post 279, 6601 Old Hobart Road in Miller area. LENTEN FISH FRY | Griffith
St. Mary School is sponsoring fish dinners from 5 to 8 p.m. every Friday during Lent at St. Mary-Hildebrandt Hall, 525 N. Lafayette St. Cost is $10 for adults; $9 for senior citizens 60 years and older; $5 for children 12 and younger. The special senior citizen prices is for fish dinners only. The children's meal is chicken nuggets, fish or cheese pizza. Other dinners being served are shrimp for $12, frog legs for $12 or a combo dinner for $12. Beer, wine and pop extra. Meals include beer-battered fried fish, choice of baked potato or french fries, homemade coleslaw, bread, homemade desserts, coffee, milk or tea. Dine-in or carryout available. St. Casimir School, 4329 Cameron St., is hosting a fish fry from 4 to 7 p.m. on Fridays beginning this week until March 26. Enter through door F. The all-you-can-eat menu costs $9 for adults and includes fish, enchiladas and pierogi. Also serving a $10, eight-piece shrimp dinner, a $4 pizza and fries plate. Drinks are 50 cents, coffee free. Bishop Noll Institute's Lenten fish frys have returned, with dinner served from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. beginning this Friday and every week through March 12 in the BNI cafeteria, 1519 Hoffman St. Cost is $7 for an ocean perch or catfish filet dinner, and $8 for a shrimp dinner. All dinners include a baked potato with sour cream and butter, salad bar, dessert table and coffee. Pop and water are also available for purchase. Menu is your choice of all-you-can-eat pollock or smelt, fantail shrimp, chicken strips or grilled cheese, french fries or Irish potatoes. All dinners include cole slaw, applesauce, bread and butter, homemade dessert and choice of soft drink, milk, tea or coffee. Price is $9 for adults and $5 for children ages 5 to 12.
