C.P. man leads state's Freemasons
Charles F. Marlowe was installed as the 159th Grand Master of Freemasons in the State of Indiana in ceremonies at Freemasons' Hall.
A native of Hammond and a resident of Crown Point, Marlowe will serve as the chief executive officer of the Grand Lodge of Indiana. The Indiana Freemasons have approximately 70,000 members in more than 400 local lodges in communities across the state.
The Masonic Fraternity in Indiana is governed by The Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, whose principal offices are located in Indianapolis. The Grand Master is elected annually by the membership to lead the fraternity.
