CEDAR LAKE | The Cedar Lake Volunteer Fire Department is investigating what sparked a fire that destroyed a house Saturday night.
The fire started at 11:12 p.m. at 10927 Parrish Ave., and quickly destroyed the residence, Fire Chief Todd Wilkening said. There were no reported injuries.
Firefighters from the department and the state fire marshal are continuing to investigate the cause and origin of the fire.
Wilkening said he didn't know how many people were living inside the home.
