HOBART | The Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana’s 32nd annual Fine Art Exhibit will be open to the public for viewing Friday through Sunday at Westfield Southlake Mall on U.S. 30.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana will showcase club members’ artwork on the mall's lower level by the Books-A-Million. The exhibit will open Friday and remain open all weekend during normal mall hours.
An Artist’s Reception will be held from 5 to 6 p.m. Friday. Artists and other special guests will get a sneak peak at the first-, second- and third-place art winners. Boys & Girls Clubs of Northwest Indiana’s Fine Arts Program is made possible, in part, by funding from the Indiana Arts Commission.
The Fine Arts Exhibit is a national Boys & Girls Clubs of America program. The exhibit features local, regional and national artists who are encouraged to create artwork in the following categories: monochromatic drawing, multicolored drawing, pastels, watercolor, oil or acrylic, print making, mixed media, collage and sculpture.
