CEDAR LAKE | Platting for a proposed three-lot subdivision has been postponed so the parcel’s owner can clear up some legal loose ends.
Given that there are inconsistencies in the legal description of the parcel at 9436 W. 125th Court, Town Attorney David Austgen advised the Plan Commission to continue a public hearing on the property until next month. Thomas Kooi and his wife, Candance, of Lowell, are trying to turn the parcel into three residential lots.
The site is south of the Singletown Oak Hill addition and is near water, but part of its is landlocked and will require an access drive to make it more accessible to the road. The interior of the parcel is also on a slope and will require some variances for building.
