CEDAR LAKE | National Day of Prayer service will be held in Cedar Lake on Thursday, May 2 at noon. Join us at the Gazebo at the Cedar Lake Town Complex, 7408 Constitution Ave. The theme for 2013 is Pray for America, emphasizing the need for individuals, corporately and individually, to place their faith in the unfailing character of their Creator, who is sovereign over all governments, authorities, and men. To further highlight the theme, the Scripture for this year is Matthew 12:21: “In His name the nations will put their hope.” For years, the National Day of Prayer has been a powerful reminder of our need to kneel before God’s throne in the public square – regardless of cultural and denominational differences.

We encourage you to come and utilize our First Amendment freedoms by joining together and praying. For more information contact Judy Gardner at 219-374-7730.
