CEDAR LAKE | Cedar Lake Fraternal Order of Eagles 2529, 13140 Lakeshore Drive, will host its first St. Baldrick’s Day event Saturday to raise money for children's cancer research.
The doors will open at noon and the head shaving will begin at 1 p.m. Entertainment will be provided by D.J Polock and the band Got Issues. There will be raffles, 50/50 drawings and T-shirts available for purchase.
Two barbers and two bartenders will be on hand.
Anyone interested in raising money for the cause by becoming a “shavee” can contact the Eagles at (219) 374-9873. The F.O.E. hopes to make this an annual event.
