CEDAR LAKE | The athletic fields at Hanover Central High School need attention and a maintenance plan, School Board member James Sakelaris said recently.
Sakelaris expressed concerns about the condition of the school's athletic fields at a Hanover Community School Corp. board meeting.
"I’d like to see a master plan (developed)” regarding field maintenance, so the board can act on it, he said.
Jeff Brooks, assistant principal at Hanover Central High, said he recently received an estimate from Sportsfields Inc. in Alsip. The estimate covered refurbishing the girls softball field at the high school. Sakelaris asked Brooks to bring Sportsfields’ proposal before the board for consideration.
