CEDAR LAKE | The Hanover Community School Corp. board recently approved a contract to improve the stormwater system at Hanover Central High School.
The contract was awarded to Dewes Excavation of Lowell, the lowest of three bidders at $6,375.
The project will involve the south stormwater detention basin at the high school. Revamping the high school’s stormwater system was on the board's agenda the past fall as it discussed reducing its stormwater bills.
Hanover High School is currently charged $1,437 per month in stormwater fees.
