CEDAR LAKE | The Hanover School Board of Trustees has accepted a donation from an area resident.

Cedar Lake resident Jim Lameka has donated a number of technology-related items to the Hanover Central High School football team and athletic department, trustees were told. The items, valued at $2,500, include six Motorola Mag One BPR40 hand-held radios, four Motorola Temple transducer head sets, and six Motorola charging stations.

The items will be used by both the athletic department and the football team, Jeff Brooks, Hanover Central’s assistant principal and Athletic Director, said.
